I offer one-to-one, tailored drum coaching to advanced or experienced players looking to push themselves to achieve their fullest potential. These are not 'standard' drum lessons, as offered by many drum teachers who simply regurgitate what they have been taught themselves. Whilst there is nothing necessarily wrong with that, in many instances you might as well learn from sources such as YouTube or books. Indeed, very often the quality of teaching I encounter is frighteningly poor at times!
My coaching is innovative - some say, unorthodox - challenging, engaging and will help you to express your full potential as a player. You'll need an 'open mind' and be prepared to try things you've never attempted before!
To find out about how I can create sessions tailored specifically to you, please get in touch and we will discuss the best options for you. Coaching sessions can be done in-person at my studio or online via Skype or FaceTime and indeed, I already have many students throughout the UK and internationally who use this service.
Coaching/Lesson Fee: £45 per hour
I do offer more conventional tuition for beginners to intermediate players too, when time allows and if this is more appropriate to you, then still get in touch. If you are a parent looking for lessons for your child, you might well be interested to know that I am one of only 3 or 4 drum teachers in the Swindon area that - through my work with local schools and colleges - undergoes mandatory and regular, professional Safeguarding/Child Protection training (not online courses...how do you ask a web page questions?!) as well as other training relating to more specific concerns - for example, PREVENT. I am also committed to the full DBS Update Service and have full Public Liability Insurance. Where appropriate, I do teach grades and have a 100% pass rate; the vast majority being at Distinction or high-scoring Merit level.
